Animals vs Cities

The idea of this project was to explore nature and architecture- I love animals and I love architecture so the perfect combination! I tried to combine the type of architecture typical in certain countries and an animal associated with that country-some are national animals and some aren't. This was part of my final project at university and was part of the Creative Arts exhibition at Bower Ashton UWE campus in Bristol. It also formed part of our self funded university exhibition at the Rag Factory in London.

Nutcracker Posters

So.. I've been working on some mock posters for a 2010 ballet production of the Nutcracker... I'll set the scene if you're not familiar with the story... Christmas, toys and SWEETS! :) Interested in using negative space. This was part of my final project at university and was part of the Creative Arts exhibition at Bower Ashton UWE campus in Bristol.

The Perfect Peahen

Professionally printed children's book, just finished!! Here are the spreads, I've taken the text off of some of these images to display the artwork (not that there was much text there anyway!!) This was part of my final project at university and was part of the Creative Arts exhibition at Bower Ashton UWE campus in Bristol.

Bilingue Per Gioco Logos

Below are two logos I created for the website Bilingue Per Gioco and its subsequent Carnival page. It's a great website, providing support for parents with bilingual children. The second logo follows a flower symbol made up of split speech bubbles. It focuses on the idea of bilingualism as discussion.

Thankyou to Letizia Quaranta for commissioning me and for all her help. I hope we can work again soon!

Bristol Short Story Prize

This is my entry for the cover of the Bristol Short Story Prize Anthology.
I was playing with the nautical theme as Bristol is rich in maritime history.

Violin Drawing

This was a drawing for a friend of a violin (I used my own as a prop!)

Lloyds Art of Nurture

I entered the Lloyds Art of Nurture competition. My piece was about the symbiotic relationship between the hippo and the oxpecker. My piece was shortlisted and one of the finalists in the competition.
